While we can’t gather at this time, we can continue to live the Spectrum lifestyle! There are several fun activities included below that can keep you and your family active during this time of social distancing. Be sure to stay tuned on our social media pages and weekly Lifestyle E-News for more fun activities to come over the next few weeks!
Submissions Due Aptil 17; Voting To Follow
Open to residents of all ages for any talent including dancing, singing, art, or wherever your creativity takes you! We will not be having a live show, instead you upload a clip of your talent that is appropriate for all ages and less than 5 minutes in length. We will then host the videos on our website for the community to vote on the winners.
Friends & Neighbors: Every night at 6PM step out of your home to wave hello to your neighbors. Start a song or give a smile. Let each other know you care and visually check in with each other.
Let’s Go On A Bear Hunt! Through Sunday, April 5
Find a bear & put it in your window - it can be a real teddy bear or a printed photo of one - be creative with it! Then take your family and go on a BEAR HUNT throughout the community. Count the number of bears you find, and take photos of your family participating! Share with us on our Facebook Page.
- Make a street map of bear locations.
- Make a map of your walk, track your mileage/steps!
- Turn it into a lesson and graph colors/sizes of bears.
....and so much more!

"Light for Joy"
Let's add some sparkle to our nights. We are working together to keep spirits high, so grab your lights and let them fly! Holiday Lights will be permitted on homes between March 25 - May 3.
With the ongoing need for blood donations and confirmation from the American Red Cross of the safety of blood drives during this time, we are allowing them to bring their blood donation bus, which will be located in the parking lot of the Community Center for donors to participate.
Do you have time and resources to help residents during this time? Do you need resources or support from your neighbors? Join the Nextdoor Group "Community Against COVID-19" to collaborate with neighbors during this time of need. Let's come together as a community!
